Mark Easley, MD
Since 1999, Mark Easley, MD, has been on faculty at Duke University Medical Center. He is the current Chief of the Duke Foot and Ankle Division and integral member of the Duke Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Fellowship Program. Dr. Easley is the past president of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) and is the currently the Treasurer of the International Federation of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (IFFAS). He is the associate editor of Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery Reviews, textbook editor for Techniques in Foot and Ankle Surgery, reviewer for Foot and Ankle International, and the author/Investigator for over 120 peer-review publications and over 60 textbook/journal chapters.
Dr. Easley was born in Pisa, Italy, and grew up in Richmond, Virginia. He attended the University of Virginia and attended medical school at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed his residency at the Carolinas Medical Center residency (Charlotte, NC), before completing the Union Memorial Hospital Foot and Ankle Fellowship (Baltimore, MD).
Dr. Easley is married to Mary Grigg, and a proud father to Ford, Ben, and Charlotte.
